Social Service Executive Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Government Office-Related Work:
- Liaise with the Nodal BEO Office and DEO Office for various requirements, including scholarships, textbook renewals, and affiliation updates.

2. Admissions Process:
- Identify new villages for student admissions based on the school's poverty criteria for KG and other grade backfills.
- Select eligible students for admission to KG or other necesary classes.
- Explain the contents of the CHAN Parent Commitment and Engagement Letters to parents and obtain their consent before proceeding with the admissions process.

3. Student Transport:
- Plan the student transportation routes, and decide on pickup points and timings as needed.
- Ensure follow-up with drivers to maintain accurate attendance records on the buses.
- Communicate the finalized routes and pick-up/drop-off schedules to the student's parents.

4. CHNR Health Program:
- Plan and execute the CHAN Health Program for students.
- Organize the students' vaccination schedules, including DPT and TT vaccines.
- Monitor and document the health records of students, ensuring a half-yearly health check-up report is maintained.

5. Documentation:
- Plan and prepare necessary formats to record student family details and other statistical information.
- Verify birth certificates, address proof, caste certificates, student photos, and parents' I.D. and income certificates during the enrollment of new students.

6. Parent and Community Outreach Program of CHNR:
- Plan and implement community outreach programs facilitated by CHAN.
- Organize public health awareness programs within the community through CHAN.

7. Attendance, Attrition, and Intervention in Student Behavioral Issues:
- Follow up on student attendance and attrition rates.
- Interact with parents about student absenteeism and provide motivation to improve attendance.
- Conduct home visits when necessary to address issues such as attendance, and discipline.

8. Planning and Implementation:
- Organize the collection of a nominal fee for shoes, socks, and sweaters from all students, regardless of their poverty category, if applicable.
- Recover the cost of damaged TABs and TAB chargers from parents responsible for the damage.

9. Parent and Community Engagement:
- Monitor and follow up on the parent volunteer program to ensure active participation.
- Plan and conduct parent training workshops for the CHAN parent community to support their involvement.
