Software Developer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Designing, developing, and implementing web applications using Node.js, Next.js, and related front-end technologies, such as React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
2. Writing complex SQL and No-SQL queries in PostgreSQL and MongoDB
3. Strong knowledge of REST APIs
4. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, adhering to best practices and industry standards for software development
5. Optimising web applications for maximum performance, compatibility, and responsiveness across various platforms and devices
6. Performing thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and security
7. Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and API specifications
8. Staying up to date with the latest advancements in Node.js, Next.js, React, and front-end web development technologies, and identifying opportunities to enhance existing applications or create new ones
9. Providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Key Requirements:

1. You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. You have proven experience developing web applications using Node.js, Next.js, and React, with a strong understanding of their features and best practices
3. You are proficient in front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
4. You have strong knowledge of web development best practices, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization
5. You are familiar with version control systems, such as Git
6. You are experienced with building tools and bundlers, such as Webpack or Babel is a plus
7. You are familiar with testing frameworks and libraries. Such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme
8. You are familiar with server-side technologies, such as Node.js
