Software QA Tester Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios
2. Executing tests on software usability
3. Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
4. Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the IT Team
5. Interacting with clients to understand product requirements
6. Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
7. Working on the team handling
8. Working to prepare, review and execute test scenarios, test cases and plans for different stages of development
9. Identifying testing scope and preparing test-data
10. Preparing test environments and execution of test-cases

Required skills:

1. Experience on BlackBox testing
2. Whitebox testing with API calls and Database.
3. Exposure to Bug tracking tools like Bugzilla, TFS, JIRA etc.
4. Proven experience as a quality assurance tester or similar role
5. Experience in project management and QA methodology
6. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
7. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
8. Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
9. Excellent communication skills
10. Attention to detail Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
11. Strong organizational skills
12. BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or a related field
