Software Tester Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects
2. Work with software developers and project support teams
3. Identify business requirements, plan projects
4. Monitor applications and software systems
5. Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing, and scalability testing
6. Write and execute test scripts, run manual and automated tests
7. Test in different environments including web and mobile, and write bug reports
8. Carry out resource planning
9. Review documentation
10. Work towards departmental and project deadlines
11. Provide quality assurance
12. Provide objective feedback to software development project teams
13. Troubleshoot and problem solve
14. Design tests to mitigate risk
15. Present findings to software development and business user teams
16. Travel to different project sites
17. Work on multiple projects at one time
18. Document analysis
19. Liaise with project teams in other parts of the world
20. Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues

Requirements and qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
2. Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies
3. Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs
4. Working knowledge of programming
5. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
6. Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
