We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented software tester to join our team who has experience in software testing, automation tools, and methodologies. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to ensure the quality and functionality of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts to validate the functionality of software applications.
2. Execute automated and manual test cases and report the results.
3. Test case preparation and execution, Defect management and Reporting using JIRA
4. Continuously optimize and refactor existing test cases to enhance the efficiency of the testing process.
5. Work closely with the development team to understand application requirements and provide feedback from the QA perspective.
Skills:
1. Programming languages: Knowledge of programming or scripting languages like Java.
2. Automation tools: Exposure to test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or JUnit.
3. CI/CD tools: familiarity with tools like Jenkins, git, and GitLab for continuous integration and version control.
4. Testing frameworks: understanding of frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
5. Version control systems: Basic understanding of Git or GitHub.
6. Bug tracking tools: Experience using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla to manage and track issues.
7. API testing: Knowledge of Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI for API testing.
8. Operating systems: Exposure to both Windows and Linux environments.
9. Database testing: Familiarity with querying databases (e.g., SQL) to validate data integrity and perform back-end testing.
