Software Tester Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the QA team to develop effective test strategies and test plans
2. Use various software programs to effectively conduct tests
3. Execute test cases and analyze the results
4. Create logs to document testing phases and defects
5. Report bugs and errors to development teams
6. Help troubleshoot issues
7. Perform mobile application testing for both Android and iOS platforms
8. Perform testing of web applications and related systems
9. Create and execute test cases based on product requirements
10. Write detailed test reports using test management tools like Jira and Rally
11. Write basic SQL queries and use basic Excel formulas to validate data-related artifacts
12. Assist developers with troubleshooting, resolution, and validation of defects encountered during testing

Requirements:

1. 2 to 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
2. Basic knowledge of manual testing
3. Basic understanding of API/Web Service testing is a plus
4. Good knowledge of Selenium & Java is a plus
5. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
6. Self-learner and self-motivated
7. Capable of supporting the QA Manager in day-to-day activities, including producing various reports such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics
