Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
Identify and document software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Design and implement automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance product quality.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing techniques.
Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
