Key responsibilities:

1. Take conceptual ideas and refine designs to align with manufacturing standards
2. Utilize advanced SolidWorks skills for precise 3D modeling, simulation, and validation
3. Create detailed 2D drawings with manufacturing specifications
4. Apply mechanical design expertise to ensure functional and reliable products
5. Generate CAD models integrating components and systems
6. Utilize knowledge of fabrication techniques to optimize design feasibility
7. Collaborate with design tools and software to enhance design quality
8. Leverage knowledge to design molds, providing a solid advantage
9. Prototype, iterate, and validate design concepts for optimal functionality
10. Ensure cost-effective manufacturing through DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges
12. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for product launches

Technical skills and expertise (1+ years):

1. Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, sub-assemblies, and large assemblies)
2. 3D design and 2D drawing expertise, including template development
3. Knowledge of mechanical design principles and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
