Position: Full time
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a sports coach
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
A Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited institution in Physical Education or a related field (BPEd,MPEd, BA in physical education, BA in sports management, BSc in physical education and/or sports science)
Previous coaching experience, in an educational setting. Preferably minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school.
Demonstrate an awareness of the physical, social and intellectual development of children, and know how to adapt teaching to support pupils education at different stages of development
Have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs; those of high ability; those with English as an additional language; those with disabilities; and be able to use and evaluate distinctive teaching approaches to engage and support them
Computer skills at a level that permits the creative and effective use of technology in the classroom
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage, motivate and inspire students
Ability to work independently with initiative
