Job Description Senior Java Developer

Design, implement and maintain java applications
To take part in software and architectural development activities
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Ensure designs follow specifications
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Recommend changes to improve established java application processes

Java Developer Responsibilities:

Passion for programming in general, rather than a specific language
Ability to learn new, emerging technologies
You have a solid general understanding of application components, what happens on the front
end, what happens on the back end.
Youre a professional. That means you follow through on commitments, meet deadlines, dont cut
corners, consider other peoples ideas, play nice with the team, learn from your mistakes,
document things and communicate honestly and proactively if you anticipate an issue doing any
of the above
Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively contend with
competing priorities
Possess strong troubleshooting, code optimization and refactoring skills
Ability to work independently without supervision

Java Developer Requirements:

6-8 years of proven experience in software development and system maintenance.
Demonstrated experience with N-tiered applications, multi-tier architecture, and production
Internet architectures.
Experienced at developing elegant-yet-simple systems using best practices and design patterns
Experience with multi-threading, memory management, networking, I/O concepts, and
performance aspects of common classes and algorithms
Excellent understanding of object-oriented design concepts and software development processes
and methods.
Must have passion for development and latest technologies
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
