Stock Manager Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating supply acquisition and distribution
2. Communicate with field employees to determine short and medium-range supply and equipment needs.
3. Communicate with suppliers to negotiate for, purchase, and acquire supplies and equipment from the list of authorized items.
4. Practice good customer service with both internal field employees and suppliers.
5. Maintaining the company inventory
6. Prepare orders for delivery to the field including loading and unloading trucks.
7. Coordinate unloading and intake of supplies and equipment when delivered.
8. Perform periodic maintenance tasks to ensure the supply/ office is kept in good, safe condition.
9. Ensure accurate, up-to-date records
10. Keep an accurate inventory of supplies in the computerized inventory data sheet.
11. Overseeing the daily operations of stock, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.
12. Identify current and future requirements by establishing reports with department people
13. To issue the material as authorized with proper care and handling
14. Responsible for controlling inventory stock levels
15. To check all invoices for quantity, quality, and rates and maintain records accordingly
16. To ensure regular availability of inventory, maintain an appropriate level of inventory all the time
17. To ensure that the materials are placed and properly stacked to obtain the physical stock at any time of the day with accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent organizational skills
2. Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend
3. Ability to understand, record, and communicate material and product information
4. 1+ years of proven experience as a Stock Manager, in the Construction Industry is a plus
5. Thorough understanding of Inventory management
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Basic computer operation skills
8. MS Office suite knowledge especially, Excel
9. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
