About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to increase market share in B2B logistics
2. Actively engage in field sales by visiting manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and corporate clients to drive conversions
3. Identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and penetrate untapped territories
4. Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring revenue growth
5. Lead by example in field sales activities, working alongside the sales team to close high-value deals
6. Develop and mentor Field Sales Managers and Business Development teams to maximize performance
7. Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals at the regional level
8. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring repeat business
9. Handle complex negotiations, justify pricing over cost, and position the company as a premium logistics provider
10. Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth service execution and customer satisfaction
11. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to refine sales approaches
12. Work with the marketing and product teams to enhance service offerings and develop custom solutions
13. Represent the company at industry events, networking meets, and corporate presentations
14. Maintain accurate sales data in CRM tools such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot
15. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, market feedback, and revenue growth strategies

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or supply chain (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
2. 6-12 years of experience in B2B sales and business development, preferably in logistics, courier, freight, or supply chain
3. Strong track record in enterprise/B2B deal closures, field sales leadership, and market expansion
4. Experience in handling large-volume sales, high-ticket deals, and strategic client negotiations
5. Deep understanding of logistics operations, express delivery, and warehousing solutions
6. Strong network and connections within manufacturing, automotive, retail, and industrial supply chains
7. Ability to handle objections, negotiate contracts, and build long-term B2B partnerships
8. Hands-on field involvement, with a willingness to travel extensively across India to meet clients and close deals
9. Ownership of a two-wheeler or four-wheeler (preferred for efficient mobility within the base location)
10. Proven ability to manage multi-city sales territories and oversee national sales operations
11. Experience using CRM tools such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot
12. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to generate reports and deliver presentations
13. High-energy, self-driven, and target-oriented mindset
14. Strong team management experience, with a passion for mentoring sales teams
15. Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities
