The junior counselor will be working as a part of our diverse team of experienced counselors. This role is based out of our Mumbai office in Vile Parle West and involves handling the student application lifecycle. Key responsibilities:
1. Guide students at every step of their journey to discovering their dream university and program
2. Assist students with university and course selection, guidance on scholarships, profile building, financing options, and determining their interest, aptitude, and abilities, and help guide them on the visa processes for key countries
3. Work on setting rigorous follow-up mechanisms with students and the universities abroad
4. Work on setting new benchmarks in student experiences and services
5. Embrace technology to provide real-time, high-quality counseling services with the latest information at your fingertips
6. Work on being there for students on a daily basis to ensure their concerns are addressed and follow up with universities and internal teams to ensure their application process runs smoothly
7. Help the clients in making a list of all documents needed while submitting their applications
8. Help the clients with SOP analysis and improvements, assistance for LORs, resume editing, and financial documentation support
9. Assist the clients with collecting visa application documents & help them to prepare for the visa interview
10. Manage internal support teams to ensure the overall student experience is of the highest quality and all timelines are met
11. Identify, develop and implement strategies to achieve sales objectives for the offices for student placement and monitor results and initiate corrective action where required
12. Collaborate with managers and the marketing team to develop and implement lead generation programs including events, client office visits, web, etc.
