Water Town Swim School India is looking for enthusiastic and passionate aquatic lead instructors to join our team and manage our swimming programs across Delhi. Our programs focus on children as young as 4 months up to 6 years old, though we also teach older kids. If you love being in the water, enjoy working with children, and don't mind getting a little silly with puppets, songs, and high-fives, this is the role for you!
Key responsibilities:
1. Teach swim classes to babies, toddlers, kids, and adults.
2. Incorporate songs, games, and playful techniques to foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
3. Maintain accurate attendance records for all classes.
4. Arrive 30 minutes before class to set up.
5. Distribute stickers and candy to all students after class.
6. Collect and count all toys immediately after class and record the count.
7. Ensure all pool equipment is properly stored after use.
8. Address questions from parents or direct them to email or WhatsApp for further assistance.
9. Report any issues or concerns to the office promptly.
10. Represent Water Town at promotional and community water safety events, such as festivals and school programs.
11. Print and bring the lesson plan for every class.
Someone with experience working with children (whether in preschools, education settings, or as a swim instructor).
A teacher who understands the importance of creating a fun and magical learning environment for children.
Candidates with a background in child psychology, education, or related fields are preferred, but hands-on teaching experience is also valuable.
Availability to work on weekends and during the peak season from March to September is mandatory. Typically, teaching sessions are structured in 3-hour blocks, then break, and an additional 3-hour evening session.
Flexibility for travel within Delhi NCR (Noida, Gurgaon, Delhi) is preferred, as classes are frequently held in hotels and schools but if you can only work at one location there's possibility to consider this.
Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 6,00,000 /year
