About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work with senior engineers, product team, and architects on implementing capabilities
2. Own complete modules and/or services
3. Apply SDLC best practices such as writing unit tests, ensuring quality gates are passing, removing dead code, and refactoring
4. Document flows and playbooks
5. Guide and conduct design and PR reviews for team members
6. Provide on-call support and root cause analyses (RCAs) where applicable
7. Optimize resource utilization
8. Identify areas for automation to reduce on-call load
9. Document high-level designs (HLDs) and low-level designs (LLDs)

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 5 years of experience.

Other requirements

1. Must have expertise in React JS, Redux, TypeScript, Jest, Webpack, and gRPC

2. Good to have skills include Java 8, Node.js, Mock Service Worker, Spring Boot, microservices, and Gradle

3. Knowledge of MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Neo4j is a big plus

4. Exposure to Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Helm charts

5. Proficiency in modern frontend development trends, micro-frontends, and mobile-responsive UI

6. Ability to mentor team members and recommend system improvements such as refactoring and re-design of existing systems
