As a Video Editor (After Effects Specialist) at Glare Media Agency, you will play a crucial role in bringing our client's visions to life through your exceptional skills in video editing and motion graphics. You will be responsible for crafting visually stunning videos that effectively communicate our clients' messages while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity.
Key responsibilities:
1. Utilize After Effects to create visually appealing motion graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video content
2. Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video projects that align with client objectives and brand identity
3. Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and storyboard video ideas
4. Ensure timely delivery of video projects while adhering to project timelines and deadlines
5. Optimize video content for various platforms and formats, including social media, websites, and broadcasts
6. Incorporate client feedback and revisions to refine video projects to meet their expectations
7. Maintain organized project files and adhere to company workflows and best practices
8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video editing techniques and software
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects with a strong portfolio showcasing your motion graphics and visual effects work
2. Solid understanding of video editing principles and techniques, with experience in Adobe Premiere Pro
3. Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for asset creation and manipulation
4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
7. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia Design, or a related field (preferred)
8. Previous experience in a similar role or within the media production industry is advantageous
