What do we look for in our candidates?
Technical skills:
1. Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
2. Knowledge of motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects) for creating animated elements.
3. Experience with colour grading, sound design, and adding visual effects.
4. Understanding of video formats, compression techniques, and optimization for web and social media.
5. Strong visual storytelling abilities, with an eye for framing, pacing, and transitions.
6. Familiarity with camera equipment and shooting basics (preferred but not required).
7. Ability to work with a variety of content styles, from interviews to promotional clips.
Soft skills:
1. Attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.
2. Creative mindset, bringing fresh ideas to communicate the brand’s message visually.
3. Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines, especially during peak event times.
4. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with marketing, production, and design teams.
5. Adaptable and open to feedback, consistently improving on projects based on team input.
6. Strong communication skills, effectively conveying concepts and receiving direction.
