Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and planning: Conduct thorough research and plan the website layout, adhering to brand guidelines and design principles.
2. Design layout: Create layouts using brand colors, consistent CTA buttons, and a limited number of fonts.
3. Development: Ensure all links (including interlinks, menu links, and social media links) are functional. Able to develop custom themes and plugins as needed.
4. Website speed optimization: Use tools like GTmetrix or Google PageSpeed Insights to perform speed tests and optimize the website for faster load times through image optimization, CSS and JavaScript minification, caching, and CDN utilization.
5. SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Implement Google Analytics and Search Console, optimize meta tags, OG tags, headings, and URLs, and create XML sitemaps. Ensure mobile responsiveness and a good user experience.
6. Testing and quality assurance: Conduct thorough testing for functionality, responsiveness, and compatibility. Address any broken links, forms, or usability issues.
7. Backup: Regularly back up the website.
8. Launch: Set up hosting and domain, migrate the website to the live server, and perform final checks.
9. Website speed and security: Install and manage essential plugins like custom login URL, Simple History, Nitropack (optional), and Maximum Login Limit for enhanced security and performance.
