Key responsibilities:

1. Hands-on experience with WordPress website development and building from scratch for a minimum of 2+ years
2. Proficiency in Responsive Design, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Cross-browser compatibility
3. Strong understanding of WordPress security aspects
4. Knowledge of PHP is a must
5. Optimization of client-side concerns for durability, speed, and scalability
6. Experience working with WordPress at a PHP & JavaScript code level
7. Customizing themes/plugins/widgets to conform with WordPress coding standards
8. Creation of clean, logical, well-documented, and reusable code
9. Theme/template integration
10. Understanding of WordPress administration, security, backup, and deployment
11. Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues
12. Knowledge of MySQL database
13. Must have good verbal and written communication skills
