We are seeking an accounts executive to manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the financial processes of the organization. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and managing invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts payable & receivable:
a. Process invoices, payments, and monitor accounts to ensure timely settlement.
b. Issue and manage sales invoices and receipts.
c. Reconcile customer accounts, follow up on outstanding payments, and handle collections.
2. Bank reconciliations:
a. Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
b. Ensure that discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved.
3. General ledger:
a. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
b. Post journal entries and ensure timely closure of accounts.
c. Prepare necessary adjustments and accruals.
4. Financial reporting:
a. Assist in the preparation of financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet, etc.).
b. Provide support in the preparation of management accounts and monthly/quarterly financial reports.
5. Expense management:
a. Track and manage petty cash, reimbursements, and expense claims.
b. Monitor and reconcile company expenses.
6. Audit support:
a. Assist external auditors during the audit process by providing financial data and documentation.
b. Prepare audit schedules and other required information for annual audits.
7. Process Improvement:
a. Review existing accounting processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
b. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. 2-4 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
