About the Role: We are seeking a UI Specialist to improve the user experience of our WhatsApp bot and digital platforms, designed for both parents and children. Your role will focus on ensuring that the interfaces are simple, engaging, and easy to navigate for both groups. You will work closely with the tech and content teams to enhance the platform's functionality and usability, as well as continuously analyze how users interact with the platform to make improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance WhatsApp Bot for Parents and Children:
Monitor and improve the user flow of the WA bot, ensuring it's easy for both parents and children to navigate.
Regularly review how users are interacting with the bot and identify areas for enhancement to increase engagement.
Implement small experiments to test what design changes can improve engagement.
Design and Update User-Friendly Interfaces:
Create and update interfaces for both parents and children that are easy to use, engaging, focusing on making them as intuitive as possible.
Continuously look for ways to simplify interactions and make navigation smoother for both user groups.
Understand and Analyze User Behavior:
Regularly analyze data on how parents and children are using the platforms to identify patterns, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Use insights to design features or make changes that improve the overall experience.
Collaborate with Content Team:
Work with the content team to ensure the content shared through the platform is easy to understand, visually appealing, and engaging for both parents and children.
Work with Tech Team for Smooth Implementation:
Collaborate closely with the tech team to ensure that the design updates are implemented smoothly and align with the technical requirements.
Requirements
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong preference for experience in educational platforms, mobile apps, or similar fields.
Education: A degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Miro, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Basic understanding of user data analysis to identify areas of improvement; familiarity with tools like BigQuery, SQL or similar is a plus.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (tech and content).
Experience in creating reports and presentations using the G suite or MS office.
