About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Acquire new business & follow the complete sales cycle - prospecting, generating leads, meetings, requirement gathering, business proposal, negotiation, related documentation & closure of lead.
2. Identify each potential customer's needs.
3. Formulate business proposals according to customers' business needs
4. Attend conferences/exhibitions/seminars.
5. Travel for client meetings (national/international).
6. Work on presentations, pre-sales costing, and negotiations.
7. Work as the single point of contact for the complete sales cycle for the customer and partners.
8. Work closely with the product team to give them feedback on the market and future requirements and enhancements in the products.
9. Maintain a knowledge base of the industry.
10. Work on target-based sales and revenue generation.
11. Work to finalize the strategy for sales.
12. Negotiate prices and variations in prices and specifications.
13. Develop new opportunities and close existing ones.
14. Develop detailed territory plans.
15. Ensure appropriate and timely delivery of service and products.
16. Follow up on service and/or product once the delivery has been made.
17. Research market trends and products.
18. Arrange meetings with potential clients.
19. Challenge objections in order to get the customer to buy a product.
20. Record sales & marketing information and maintain customers' records.
21. Make rapid calculations of costs in order to provide temporary quotations.
22. Prepare sales & marketing reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
23. Review self-sales performance with a view to improving it.

Education and Experience:

1. Required business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification like MBA/PGDBM, etc.
2. Experience working with E-learning/IT software sales or Hospitality Industry sales.
3. Relevant product and industry knowledge.
