About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead generation & prospecting:
a. Identify and generate new business leads using various channels (online research, networking, etc.).
b. Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities in target markets.

2. Sales & relationship management:
a. Conduct product presentations and demos for potential customers.
b. Develop strong relationships with prospective clients and nurture them through the sales cycle.
c. Close deals to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

3. Market research & strategy:
a. Stay updated with market trends, competitor products, and industry developments.
b. Provide market feedback to help in refining sales strategy and product offerings.

4. Client onboarding & engagement:
a. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
b. Work closely with the customer success team to transition clients from sales to implementation.

5. Documentation & reporting:
a. Maintain records of sales activities in CRM tools.
b. Prepare regular reports and analyses to track progress and sales performance.

Other requirements

1. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the SaaS/IT industry.

2. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, it, or a related field.

3. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

4. Sales ability: Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and close sales.

5. Technical knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS products, IT services, or software sales will be preferred.

6. Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.

7. Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs.

8. Tools: Experience using CRM software.

9. IT product or Saas product sales will be prefferred.
