Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive with a background in the supermarket chain, e-commerce, or purchase departments. This role involves driving growth through strategic partnerships, vendor relationships, and market expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Market and Business Expansion
Identify and explore new business opportunities within supermarket chains, e-commerce platforms, and other relevant sectors.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends to inform growth strategies.
2.Vendor and Supplier Management
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key partners to optimize product selection and sourcing.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost efficiency.
3.Sales and Revenue Growth
Develop strategies to increase sales and revenue across channels, including supermarkets and e-commerce.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to launch promotions, enhance product visibility, and drive customer engagement.
4.Product Development and Inventory Management
Collaborate with purchasing and product teams to align product selection with customer demand.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely product availability to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
5.Strategic Planning and Reporting
Formulate and implement business development plans and growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
Track performance metrics and provide regular reports on sales, market performance, and key KPIs to senior management.
6.Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to streamline processes and ensure consistent execution of business goals.
Participate in weekly/monthly meetings to discuss targets, progress, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in business development, purchasing, or a related role in the supermarket, retail, or e-commerce sectors.
Proven track record of successful partnerships and growth initiatives within FMCG or e-commerce.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of inventory management and product sourcing.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
