About the job

Key Responsibilities:

A. Market Analysis and Trends:
1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess market demands for digital marketing services.
2. Provide regular reports on market intelligence and competitor analysis.

B. Client Acquisition:
1. Develop and execute effective strategies to acquire new clients within the digital domain.
2. Educate clients about a company s services in order to increase sales. Demonstrable experience leading and managing marketing clients' databases, email, social media or display advertising campaigns.
3. Perform new client acquisition through research, referrals, networking, cold calling, data feeds, and emails.

C. Relationship Building:
1. Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their business needs and aligning our digital solutions accordingly.
2. Maintain a strong understanding of our digital marketing services to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and productive manner, identifying and implementing process improvements.
4. Interact with clients/agencies to discuss and identify their advertising requirements and to devise an approach that meets the client s brief & budget to meet the KPIs.

D. Sales Presentations:
1. Deliver compelling presentations showcasing our digital services, emphasizing the value proposition and benefits.

E. Revenue and Lead Generation:
1. Generate new business leads for all service lines and manage the initial stages of the sales cycle.
2. Take ownership of lead generation by proactively creating leads through various channels and strategies.
3. Utilize your sales flair and expertise to close deals and meet targets.

F. Collaboration:
1. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project transitions and client satisfaction.
2. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for conferences, events, website advertising, branded content, and custom events.

G. Branded Content Sales:
1. Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
2. Identify opportunities for branded content creation and sales for the B2B Industry.

H. Work from Office and Extensive Travel:
1. Be based in the office for regular meetings, collaboration, and coordination with the team.

Other requirements

1. Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

2. Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management roles within the digital marketing industry.

3. Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and analytics.

4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.

5. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

6. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

7. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals.

9. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.

10. Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

11. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for digital marketing, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive industry.

12. Your role as a business development manager will be pivotal in shaping the success of our digital department.

13. Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
