About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational management: Oversee the overall operations of the AskIITians center in the GCC region, including staff supervision, facility management, and compliance with operational policies and procedures.
2. Learning environment: Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere that promotes academic excellence and personal growth among students.
3. Staff development: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of instructors and administrative staff, providing ongoing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
4. Enrollment strategies: Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams to create and implement effective strategies for student enrollment, retention, and customer satisfaction.
5. Curriculum collaboration: Work with the curriculum development team to ensure high-quality course delivery that meets student needs.
6. Class scheduling: Coordinate and monitor class schedules to optimize resource utilization, managing any changes or conflicts effectively.
7. Record management: Oversee the maintenance of student records, attendance, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
8. Staff communication: Conduct regular meetings with staff to share updates, address concerns, and promote a collaborative work environment.
9. Stakeholder engagement: Address student and parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly, maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
10. Safety protocols: Implement and uphold safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being and security of students and staff.
11. Promotional activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute local promotional events and workshops to attract prospective students.
12. Industry awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, educational policies, and local regulations that impact educational center operations in the GCC region.
13. Budget management: Prepare and manage the center's budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.

Other requirements

Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in education management, preferably in a similar role within the GCC region.

Leadership skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.

Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders.

Educational knowledge: Solid understanding of the education system, competitive exams (such as JEE and NEET), and the educational landscape in the GCC region.

Organizational skills: Strong organizational and administrative capabilities, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Academic operations: Familiarity with academic operations, curriculum development, and instructional best practices.

Technical proficiency: Proficient in using computer applications and software related to student management and center operations.

Customer focus: Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to students and parents.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and make timely, effective decisions.

Language skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
