2. Direct tax :
a. Manage and execute all aspects of direct tax compliance, including filing of returns, handling assessments, and ensuring timely e-filing.
b. Demonstrate practical knowledge of direct tax provisions, with experience in international tax compliance.
c. Prepare tax documents and ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
d. Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert tax planning and consulting services.
3. Indirect tax :
a. Oversee the filing of monthly and annual indirect tax returns, ensuring full compliance with the relevant provisions.
b. Represent the organization in front of tax authorities during assessments and in response to notices.
c. Handle the filing of refund applications and other related tax documentation.
4. Prepare budgeting, costing, inventory, and financial MIS reports for management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Liaise effectively with internal and external auditors, as well as bankers, to ensure smooth financial operations.
6. Prepare financial statements for both private and public limited companies.
6. Assist in the implementation of internal control policies and procedures within the accounting department.
7. Utilize hands-on knowledge & advanced MS Office applications to streamline processes and reporting.
8. Compliance and accounting tools:
a. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Company Law, and other statutory requirements, including the filing of returns and documentation.
b. Proficient in using accounting tools like SAP, Tally, Zoho, Genius, and Advanced Excel for day-to-day operations.
