About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet company objectives and revenue targets in the Edtech industry
2. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales representatives, providing support to achieve individual and team sales goals
3. Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify improvement areas and adjust strategies for optimal performance
4. Collaborate with marketing to create lead generation strategies and campaigns tailored to the Edtech market
5. Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions to enhance their experience
6. Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competition, and customer needs to drive innovation
7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer success, to align sales strategies with company objectives
8. Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, offering insights into sales performance and growth opportunities
9. Collaborate with leadership to develop training programs for sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with essential knowledge and skills for success in Edtech sales

1. Candidates with minimum 4 years of experience.

1. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in higher education sales, ideally within the Edtech industry, with a strong record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing teams

2. Proven leadership and interpersonal abilities to inspire and drive a sales team toward outstanding results

3. Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with expertise in interpreting sales data for strategic decision-making

4. Comprehensive knowledge of the Edtech industry, including key trends, customer challenges, and competitor insights

5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of building and sustaining client and internal relationships

6. Demonstrated success in crafting and executing effective sales strategies and initiatives within the Edtech sector

7. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving market conditions and customer needs

8. Proficiency with CRM software and other sales management tools

9. Strong work ethic and passion for education and technology, committed to fostering positive change in education
