About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities
3. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software sales representatives
4. Conduct market research and analyze competitors
5. Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing coaching and guidance
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
7. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging software technologies

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline (additional degree/diploma in sales/marketing preferred)
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate/institutional/enterprise sales, especially in the software industry
3. Proven sales leadership experience
4. Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
5. Ability to travel when required
6. Solid understanding of the software industry and technical solutions
7. MBA / PGDBM or equivalent in Marketing or Sales
8. Technical knowledge or awareness of software applications and solution
