1. Collaborate with the design team to enhance manufacturability of product designs
2. Establish and maintain DFM guidelines for cost-effective product development
3. Assist in selecting cost-effective, high-quality materials
4. Identify and implement process optimization opportunities for improved efficiency
5. Collaborate with suppliers to enhance component designs, reducing costs
6. Collaborate with the prototyping team to align prototype methods and materials with production processes
Who can apply:
1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (master's degree preferred)
2. 2 -5 years of experience in product design, engineering, or manufacturing.
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques.
4. Proficiency in CAD software and design tools.
5. Knowledge of medical device manufacturing industry-specific regulations and standards will be preferred
