The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and a proven track record of developing robust ETL processes to support various data-driven initiatives within the organization. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business analysts, to gather and translate business requirements into code.
2. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in ETL processes through optimization techniques such as parallel processing, indexing, and query tuning.
3. Document ETL processes, data mappings, and configurations to maintain a comprehensive repository of ETL artifacts and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
4. Track, escalate, and support the resolution of transformation solutions or API integration.
Requirements:
1. A good end-to-end knowledge of the ETL landscape, starting from the source system, warehouse, mart, and reports
2. Good analytical and logical skills in writing SQL, Stored Procedures, and creating Marts/Views in Teradata
3. Experience in data migration on cloud projects
4. Very strong ETL Concepts and hands-on experience with any ETL tool (basic & advanced)
5. Experience with APIs that output data in XML format, including parsing and handling the data. Hands-on experience with SOAP and REST API data integrations and API Tools.
6. Capability to transform XML data into other formats like JSON, CSV, or a database.
7. Understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and ETL process design.
8. Experience with Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Data Lake.

2. Those who are from or open to relocate to Pune and neighboring cities
1. Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in ETL development, preferably in a data warehousing environment.
3. Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
4. Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and stored procedures.
5. Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques.
6. Experience working with large datasets and implementing performance optimizations.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
