About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop a telesales database of potential clients in the region through directory searches, cold calling, client referrals, old and inactive customers, etc.
2. Responsible for cold calling prospects in the telemarketing database to generate quality leads for the sales team, focusing on acquiring new customers.
3. Revive business from inactive or lost customers by maintaining consistent contact and informing them about new products/services, forwarding such leads to the sales team.
4. Maximize sales opportunities by regularly calling existing customers to explore potential cross-sell opportunities and forwarding these leads to the sales team.
5. Ensure lead conversion by scheduling meetings, arranging customer visits, and preparing proposals to close deals.
6. Provide after-sales support for new clients for the first three months, including courtesy calls, tracking sales and service, and resolving issues; act as a single point of contact during this period.
7. Optimize productivity by focusing on metrics like the average number of leads per FTE, lead conversion rates, and revenue per FTE.
