About the job

The executive marketing and sales for a solar energy business is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, Lead generation for prospective sales opportunities, driving sales initiatives, and expanding the customer base. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, market analysis, and customer relationship management. A fair understanding of the solar energy industry is preferred.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement marketing plans to promote solar energy products and services.
2. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and consumer preferences.
3. Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational sales targets.
4. Identify and approach potential customers and build long-term relationships.
5. Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
6. Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to prospective clients.
7. Collaborate with the technical team to provide customized solutions based on client needs.
8. Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
9. Provide exceptional customer service and address any issues or concerns promptly.
10. Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services.
11. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
12. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and lead generation.
13. Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and improve outcomes.

Other requirements

1. Bachelors degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (an MBA with a focus on marketing is preferred).

2. 1 year of experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Aspirational and enthusiastic freshers may also apply.

3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

7. Fair understanding of the solar energy industry and renewable energy market dynamics.

8. Customer-focused with a passion for sustainable energy solutions.


Annual CTC: ₹ 2,50,000 - 5,00,000 /year
