Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Research and Development Engineer to join our growing team at Wick. You will lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of automatic tyre deflation and inflation systems for axles in the heavy commercial vehicle industry. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electronic, and automotive systems, along with a creative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, design, and test automatic tyre inflation and deflation systems for heavy commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and buses.
2. Conduct research on industry best practices, global standards, and emerging technologies related to tyre pressure management.
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and production to ensure seamless product development.
4. Create prototypes and iterate based on testing results, customer feedback, and performance assessments.
5. Perform feasibility studies, simulations, and analysis to validate concepts and designs.
6. Troubleshoot issues during development, installation, and after-market testing phases.
7. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements in product design.
8. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality components and materials for the systems.
9. Document all phases of R&D activities, including design notes, technical drawings, test results, and analysis.
