About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations
2. Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and categorized
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
5. Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
6. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
7. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
8. Prepare and file tax returns and other financial reports as required
9. Assist in internal and external audits
10. Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors
11. Address and resolve any financial discrepancies or issues

Other requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2. Proven experience in accounting or a related role

3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy

7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
