About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective waste disposal plans tailored to meet client needs
2. Create and manage waste management budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant waste disposal, handling, and transportation regulations
4. Oversee and monitor the daily waste stream at the plant
5. Maintain statistical records and prepare periodic reports as required by management
6. Set long-term goals and objectives to ensure project success and achieve desired outcomes
7. Develop and implement project monitoring templates and maintain documentation of all activities
8. Schedule and oversee field coordinators' work activities to ensure operational efficiency
9. Design and manage project monitoring and evaluation frameworks for quality assurance
10. Supervise project coordinators by providing guidance and regular feedback to ensure smooth project delivery
11. Generate and deliver monitoring reports to management, and maintain client/partner communication throughout the project
12. Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to secure program support and gather input for continuous improvement
13. Organize consultations and workshops, and partner with government departments and citizen initiatives to support project goals

Other requirements

1. Educational background in environmental sciences, waste management, engineering, or a related field

2. Proficiency in data management and reporting, with a detail-oriented approach to record-keeping and reporting

3. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing project challenges and improving efficiency

4. Ability to develop SOPs and monitoring frameworks, ensuring consistent operational standards

5. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and collaborate with stakeholders

6. Ability to work collaboratively with government departments, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote project success

7. Financial acumen to oversee budgets, manage cash flows, and enforce financial discipline

8. Experience in waste management, environmental services, or a similar field, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance

9. Proven track record in project management, budget management, and operations supervision

10. Leadership skills to effectively guide field coordinators and supervise team members for efficient project delivery

Salary

Probation:

Duration: 3 months

Salary during probation: ₹20,000 - 22,500 /month (only for freshers)

After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,50,000 - 4,25,000 /year
