About the job

We are a fast-growing personal care and beauty startup looking for a dynamic and results-driven key account executive to join our team. This individual will build and manage strong relationships with modern trade retail partners, drive in-store visibility, and ensure sales growth across our modern trade channels & assisted outlets. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of modern trade dynamics within the beauty and personal care industry, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset.

Key responsibilities:

1. Account management:
i. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, such as supermarkets, hypermarkets, and specialty beauty retail chains.
ii. Manage end-to-end business processes, including order management, forecasting, and stock management for modern trade partners.
2. Business development:
i. Identify and onboard new retail partners to expand our brand presence within the modern trade landscape.
ii. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain) to develop and execute customized strategies for each retail partner.
3. Sales targets & forecasting:
i. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned accounts.
ii. Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, market share, and profitability for modern trade channels.
4. Brand visibility & merchandising:
i. Implement in-store promotional activities to maximize brand visibility and customer engagement.
ii. Oversee proper placement and visibility of products on shelves, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
5. Promotional strategy execution:
i. Plan and execute promotional campaigns in collaboration with marketing, aligning with brand and channel goals.
ii. Track and analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities, making recommendations for optimization.
6. Reporting & analysis:
i. Provide detailed sales reports and insights on account performance, sales trends, and growth opportunities.
ii. Prepare regular updates and presentations for senior management on account performance and growth projections.

Effective Communication Marketing MS-Office Sales

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

2. 0-2 years of experience in modern trade sales, preferably within the personal care, beauty, or FMCG industry.

3. Strong understanding of the retail landscape, particularly in beauty and personal care categories.

4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

5. Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.

6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 5,00,000 /year
