About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work on telephone-based lead generation to drive sales-ready leads.
2. Generate new small and medium enterprise business opportunities by generating outbound leads and interests through emails, calls, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms and tools.
3. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and the sales team
4. Work on managing the new customer acquisition.
5. Work on generating new revenue.
6. Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations online.
7. Collaborate with the customer success team and marketing department on campaigns to assist with nurturing the existing lead database.
8. Build a strategy for a business development action plan. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Research competition to identify threats and opportunities.
10. Undertake knowledge management by collecting and collating information available under each vertical. This would also include creating and updating program strategy documents and decks.
11. Support the team in coordinating the proposal development process with the internal team.

Other requirements

1. Good knowledge and experience in business development, preferably at a SaaS start-up.

2. Tech-savvy, love for software, and tech, and excitement to learn about software and various tools etc.

3. Sound understanding of market research and data analysis.

4. Experience with a CRM solution, marketing automation systems, and experience with various lead vendor technologies.

5. Solid verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

6. Excellent command of MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

7. Bachelor’s/master’s degree from a reputed graduate school.

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,50,000 - 3,00,000 /year
