Students selected will join as Sales Trainees in the Trade Marketing & Distribution vertical of the Company. After successful completion of training and confirmation, they will be deployed in hands-on roles in any of ITC's geographies in the Western Region where they will be responsible for:
Key responsibilities:
1. Managing Sales and Distribution process across channels in ITC.
2. Handling retail outlets across territories with the opportunity to learn on the ground.
3. Leading teams and being accountable for training, cost management, and adherence to systems and processes.
4. Managing various stakeholders including distributors, supervisors, and salesmen.
Selection criteria:
As part of the selection process, the selected candidates have to complete a live project. During this project candidates will dive into the FMCG industry, focusing on ITC's Trade Marketing & Distribution (TM&D) Division. They will:
1. Learn about ITC's product flow, from factory to retail shelves.
2. Explore strategies in channel management, distributor operations, and inventory management.
3. Engage in retail market dynamics through hands-on experience.
The top performers will be earning a chance for a Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) for the Sales Trainee role at ITC.
Note: Students selected for a career with ITC will be on probation for a period of one year, during which they will undergo training and upon successful completion of training they will be confirmed and deployed in hands-on roles in any of ITC's geographies in the Western Region.
1. Final year students currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration or its equivalent (2024 & 2025 Batch).
2. 50% across HSC and SSC is mandatory to be considered.
