What experience and skills do you need?
Must-Have Skills:
1. 4-5 years of experience in backend development
2. Proficiency in backend development with a strong understanding of web frameworks and languages, preferably Node.js and Express
3. Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines
4. Familiarity with tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
5. Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs
6. Expertise in using Git for version control
7. Strong knowledge of MySQL database design, optimization, and management
8. Experience with implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms using Auth0
9. Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and other authentication protocols
1. Candidates with minimum 4 years of experience.
Good-to-Have Skills:
1. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
2. Experience with serverless architectures
3. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
4. Knowledge of TDD principles and experience with writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
5. Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman
6. Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
7. Understanding of microservices architecture and deployment
8. AWS certifications can be advantageous
