LED Wall Installation Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Efficiently pull, terminate, label, and test cabling between audio, video, data, and control equipment
2. Install and mount LCD and LED video walls
3. Configure and test video processors and scalers
4. Correctly and safely mount, test, and calibrate equipment including projectors, screens, and monitor arrays
5. Interface with clients to provide updates under the direction of the Project Manager
6. Solve mounting and signal flow issues as appropriate
7. Proactively identify potential technical and logistical issues and communicate them to the Project Manager or Engineer
8. Manage and instruct Junior Installation Technicians on Jobs

Job Requirements:

1. Up to 75% travel may be required
2. Must be able to climb ladders up to 20 feet high
3. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs
4. Must be able to work in small spaces and on uneven surfaces
5. Solid written and verbal communication skills
6. Understanding of video, audio, and control connectors and cabling
7. Ability to solder as well as terminate multiple styles of connections (BNC, RJ45, multi-pin connectors, etc.)
8. Ability to read schematic drawings
9. Worked on LED wall modules, cabinets, receiving cards, sending cards, and sensors
10. Experienced with indoor and outdoor type LED wall installations
11. Knowledge of video wall processors, and controllers of different brands like Novastar, colorlight, huidu, etc.
12. Capable of feeding details to the design team for manufacturing of cabinets and catering solutions
13. Should have knowledge of various mounting procedures like ceiling mount, floor mount, wall mount, hinge-based, hydraulic mounting, rope mounting, etc.
14. Capable of handling a laptop and configuring screens as per requirement
15. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems promptly
