About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop, customize, and maintain web applications using Magento, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
2. Collaborate with designers and developers to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.
3. Ensure timely updates and maintenance of Magento and its extensions to incorporate the latest features and security patches.
4. Design and implement APIs for seamless integration with third-party services.
5. Optimize application performance, security, and scalability through effective caching and optimization techniques.
6. Manage database design and optimization using MySQL or other relevant databases.
7. Write clean, maintainable code and develop documentation for code, processes, and procedures.
8. Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit tests and integration tests, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
10. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for existing applications.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Magento Developer Expert certification is a plus.
2. Magento Certified Solution Specialist certification is a significant advantage.
3. Experience with mobile application development is desirable

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web applications.

3. Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

4. Proficiency in back-end technologies, especially PHP, and experience with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.

5. Familiarity with Magento development, including customization and extension development.

6. Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, and experience with database management (MySQL, Oracle).

7. Understanding of search technologies like Solr or Elastic Search.

8. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

10. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
