1. Develop and maintain code developed in ASP.NET using C#.
2. Troubleshoot and ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues with the project.
3. Perform integration of new code with existing code and tools.
4. Participate in project status meetings as required and provide project status updates with respect to work on hand.
5. Should be able to handle complex coding independently & resolve issues.
6. Prefer a small team, fast-paced work environment.
7. Should be creative and able to bring new ideas to solve business problems, should be a self-starter.
8. Able to convince teams of a good idea, and be assertive where required.
Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Expertise in software design & development using .NET development tools on the web using- ASP.net, jQuery, C#.Net,- MS SQL, Web Reporting, 3rd Party Controls (e.g. Infragistics, Component- One).
2. Crystal reports, coding- standards, and n-tier architecture.
3. Excellent knowledge- of ASP.net,- ADO.NET, JQuery, C# 4.0/3.5, SQL Server 2008/2005,- HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and AJAX Techniques.
4. Working experience in web-based- application- development is a must; experience in desktop-based systems would be an advantage.
5. Exposure to Web services,- Cloud/SaaS- architecture, and knowledge- of WCF would be an advantage.
6. Exposure to Open Source- Repositories like- GitHub,- CodePlex, and SourceForge.Net are added advantages.
7. Hands-on experience with SQL Server, complex procedures, and triggers.
8. Must have exposure to query optimization, index building, and reporting.
9. Familiarity with at least one source-safe tool- preferably VSS.
10. Any Engineering/Computer Science Graduate/PG.
