Project Manager - Commercial Interior Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines. Ensure resource allocation and manage project scope from conception to completion.
2. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams including designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
3. Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and the project stays within financial limits.
5. Quality Control: Ensure design intent and quality standards are met through regular site inspections and collaboration with the design team.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
7. Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
8. Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, budgets, and milestones.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the interior design or architecture industry.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
3. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)
6. Familiarity with design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp)
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
9. Work Conditions:
10. Occasional travel to project sites and client meetings.
11. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage shifting priorities.
