3D Motion Graphics Artist Job (Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Work on 3D modeling: Develop detailed 3D models of characters, objects, environments, and other elements based on provided concept art, sketches, or reference materials
2. Work on texturing and shading: apply appropriate textures and shaders to enhance the appearance and realism of the 3D models
3. Work on rigging and animation: Create and implement rigs for characters and objects to enable smooth and realistic animations
4. Handle camera work: Set up and animate virtual cameras to frame shots effectively, capturing the best angles and perspectives to convey the story
5. Work on lighting and rendering: Design and implement lighting setups that complement the scene and evoke the desired atmosphere
6. Work on collaborations: Collaborate with artists, animators, designers, and other team members to understand project goals and integrate your 3D assets seamlessly into the overall production pipeline

Required Skills:

1. Proficiency in 3D modeling and animation software to create high-quality and realistic 3D models
2. Understanding of texturing, shading, and rendering techniques to create visually appealing 3D models; experience in rigging and character animation
3. Knowledge of lighting principles and experience in designing and implementing various lighting setups for different scenes and moods
4. Education: While a degree or diploma in art, animation, design, or a related field is preferred, we are also open to hiring self-taught artists; we believe that more than formal degrees, the real magic lies in your passion and talent for 3D animation
