We are seeking a skilled PHP/Laravel/WordPress developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on a sophisticated service marketplace website, designed to connect users with a wide range of services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and Laravel framework, with a proven track record of developing complex web applications.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications using the Laravel framework
2. Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
3. Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript are valid and consistent across applications
4. Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API
5. Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support
6. Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
7. Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
8. Interface with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions
9. Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
1. Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel
2. Understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented PHP programming
3. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
4. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
5. Experience in API creation and integration
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Experience with frontend technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5
8. Knowledge of server-side CSS preprocessors (such as LESS and SASS)
9. Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
10. Experience in creating scalable applications
