The business development executive will identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients, and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. The individual will be responsible for expanding the company's customer base, building long-term relationships with new prospects, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify business opportunities:
a. Research potential clients and markets to discover new leads.
b. Evaluate emerging industry trends and provide competitive analysis.
c. Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other channels.
2. Client acquisition & management:
a. Contact and meet potential clients to introduce company products or services.
b. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
c. Develop customized proposals and presentations for clients.
d. Manage client expectations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
3.Sales & negotiation:
a. Prepare and deliver effective sales pitches and presentations.
b. Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales.
c. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
4. Market research & strategy:
a. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors.
b. Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities.
c. Assist in developing the company's growth strategy focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with internal teams:
a. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns.
b. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions tailored to client needs.
c. Provide feedback to the product and service teams regarding client requirements.
6. Reporting & documentation:
a. Maintain detailed records of all client interactions in the CRM system.
b. Prepare regular reports on sales progress, market insights, and client feedback.
c. Track and analyze performance metrics to ensure business development goals are met.
