1. Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications using Apache Camel for integration
2. Design and implement microservices and APIs
3. Integrate various systems and data sources using Apache Camel routes and components
4. Participate in architectural discussions to design solutions for complex business problems
5. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while ensuring high performance and responsiveness
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery
7. Debug and resolve complex integration issues with Camel components
8. Maintain documentation for system designs, processes, and integration points
9. Ensure best practices are followed for version control, CI/CD, and unit testing
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
2. Strong experience with Apache Camel for enterprise integration
3. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA
4. Experience in developing microservices and RESTful APIs
5. Proficiency in working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
6. Familiarity with Apache Camel components like JMS, HTTP, REST, File, FTP, etc.
7. Solid understanding of integration patterns, message routing, and message transformation using Camel
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
9. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
