Chief RF Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. RF System Design: Design and develop RF systems and subsystems for defense applications, including radar, communication, and electronic warfare systems.
2. RF Circuit Design: Design RF circuits, including amplifiers, filters, oscillators, and mixers, using simulation tools and considering factors such as linearity, noise, and power consumption.
3. Antenna Design: Design and optimize antenna systems for specific applications, including array antennas, phased arrays, and antennas for mobile and stationary platforms.
4. RF Testing and Characterization: Develop and execute test plans to characterize RF components and systems, including RF performance, linearity, noise figure, and intermodulation distortion.
5. RF Simulation and Modeling: Use simulation tools such as ADS, CST Microwave Studio, or HFSS to model and simulate RF components and systems for performance optimization and troubleshooting.
6. Integration: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineers, electronics engineers, and software engineers, to integrate RF systems into overall product designs.
7. Compliance and Standards: Ensure RF systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations for defense applications, including RF emissions, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and safety standards.
8. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including design specifications, test procedures, and compliance reports.
9. Manage the project for successful completion. Prepare aggressive but realistic timelines and execute it with success.
