We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Store Assistant to join our team. The store assistant will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Key responsibilities:
1. Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases in a friendly and courteous manner
2. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
3. Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments, including unpacking, stocking shelves, and ensuring accurate inventory records
4. Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock checks, restocking shelves, and identifying slow-moving or discontinued items
5. Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
6. Assist the store manager and other team members as needed
7. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and security measures

2. Prior retail or customer service experience preferred

6. Basic math skills and proficiency in using cash registers and other retail equipment
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
8. Physical ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to [insert weight] pounds and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, and reaching
